Re: Aviano F-16s
The press release on the official Lakenheath website doesn't mention a particular exercise just 'interoperability' with other USAF units and NATO partners etc.

Re: Aviano F-16s
This morning some of the F16's were at Cornfield range in the Netherlands together with some F15E's.
Callsigns heard: Buzzard (F16), Venom (F16) and Hammer (F15E)

Re: Aviano F-16s
What's the crowd situation like at LN - has half the World and his wife & kids rolled up there yet? I'm planning a run out there on Thursday.
Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don't have film.
Re: Aviano F-16s
You should have a good time as flying has been what I would describe as "intense" this week and last week. I've not seen a single F-16 yet and I can see them taking off on rwy 24 from my window. All been twin tail fin F-15's when I've been looking. Wind turning from SE on Thurs, so may be using 06 instead. I predict this activity will last at least until Friday afternoon.roughcutter wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 4:55 pmWhat's the crowd situation like at LN - has half the World and his wife & kids rolled up there yet?
