Had a flight of two Navy Sea Kings over Northampton yesterday afternoon heading West to East. ZA299 showed up on PP, would be interested to know whether its at Bodney and whether ZA312 was the other one?

Taken from MSF yahoo group this morning:
Noted at Bodney Camp in the Stanford Training Area this morning:

Seaking HC4 ZA299/D
Seaking HC4 ZA312
AS365N ZJ785
AS365N ZJ78(3) can only see the serial from quite a distance. Think it is 783 but not 100% sure
Gazelle AH1 parked nose-on to the road behind buildings

Hope it helps.

Like Rich said from the main road is the best area (there are several pull ins on the opposite side of the road), and you can walk up the farm track alongside the camp, but the views are not great from this side, the rest of the camp boundary is farmland and training area and out of bounds to all, as with any training area please think before you go, or they will just move the next exercise deeper inside STANTA where they can not be seen.

Just had a pair of RN Sea Kings over Northampton, heading NE (to Bodney?)

PP shows ZA296 as one, anyone know the other or can eyeball them when they arrive?

Cheers
