yes ,it sounded originally like they where going to get 21up today, but 21must be tech or something,as this is what I herd first on the radio, and I think it was a last min change to go with 31 today as tower asked which one was going today...so I don't know what is happening with 21  :ninja:
I hope 31 has a good flight though :thumb:
Hope this helps

Hi, I'm new to this board.
I live in Swindon North for the last few months and recently I saw some C-130s flying over low.
Tuesday around 9pm and on Monday as well, it was kind of zigzagging to the South.
Maybe supplies for the U-2 ?
What frequency should I monitor to find out what is going on there? I have a small radio (Icom IC-R5).
Thanks.

Hi mennie
try the following link & search for Fairford & Brize under the 'database' drop down menu then search within V/UHF frequencies.

http://www.milscanners.org/

Hope this helps.
Kind regards. Stu. H

Hi mate welcome to f/c
To be honest it was most likely a brize herc doing some low level training I would imagine, brize approach frequency can be found online easily
I would think if it were supplies for the Americans they would use a 17

Thanks for the info, will try the milspotters website as soon as they accept me there.
Didn't know about Brize, never been to their airshow ;) Looks huge!
That explains the stuff that I have seen flying around the area.
