Any thoughts on type arriving or is it yesterdays cancelled 757 do you think?
Best Regards
Pune
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

It will be the New Zealand B757 again, the fields only been open for half an hour according to the Notam so I doubt they'll have been anything yet!

Agree with you Sam. Going back to my RAF days we used to open up ATC/the airfield 30mins before an arrival/departure so this may also apply here.
Sometimes though the unexpected can happen like on a couple of occasions in the 1990's when a French Air Force Mirage 2000 and an MC-130H turned up in the local area wanting to land and Fairford Tower wasn't even open!
Good luck to anyone down there!

Notam is no longer there. Has it been cancelled again?

The NOTAM expired at 12z - I'd assume it hasn't turned up.

Likely to be some action at Fairford on Wednesday 8th June as it is the RIAT 2011 Press Day then.
