There is currently an unscheduled deployment of one, if you want to see a Ellsworth B-1 on the ground.

Deployment in the works for Moron, Spain with a Kalitta 747 arriving a few days ago from Dyess. There are many bases they can deploy to now meaning FFD just isnt as busy as it was once deployment wise.

The USAF would say that they've already exercised Fairford once this year from their Fiscal Year 2024 budget. Their Fiscal Year runs from the 1st of October 2023 to the 30th of September 2024 so the Dyess B-1's that were deployed to Fairford in October and November '23 were the 1st deployment of FY'24.That's why it was designated as Bomber Task Force 24 -1.
I think the 4 deployments probably means to Europe rather than specifically Fairford as the base has only twice hosted such a number - in 1988 and 2017. Now that several more bases have become available to the bomber force it seems that their gain will be Fairford's loss.

Hearing many rumours of a B52 deployment at the end of May. Will look out for transport aircraft and equipment being moved around on the ground. As well as Article 250 permits of which none have been published yet. If they are arriving support should start next week.

If there is any truth in these rumours, could very well tie in with major MoD exercises off the NW coast of Scotland, due to take place between 10th and 24th of June.

They would fly "Global Power" missions direct rom the US, no need to deploiy bombers to the UK for an exercise.

Any deployment would be a show of force due to Israel/Gaza or Russia/Ukraine conflict.

There is normally a deployment around about the end of May going into June and this would not have a thing to do with Ukraine or Gaze

That’s not true. They deployed 4 B1s to Moron AFB in March for BTF 24-2.

“BTF 24-2 is a routine mission part of Large Scale Global Exercise 2024, an umbrella exercise that incorporates dozens of separate exercises and military activities, under multiple combatant commands, that enable the U.S. Joint Force to train with Allies and partners and improve shared understanding, trust and interoperability on security challenges across the globe.”

If this did happen, why would this be any different?

As city42 said, they often deploy around the end of May, with the BALTOPS 2024 exercise starting in early June, that they have participated in quite a few times. Guess we will have to just wait and see :)
