300.125 seems to pop up fairly regular during the deployments

241.100 used as Air-Air by both flights on arrival, and also being used as the Ops frequency - callsign Bat Ops.

Many thanks Timmo, it's good to see that someone knows how to spell the plural of frequency.

124.275 and 278.35 are Lower Airspace Radar Service frequencies so won't be used. 279.275 is used by the U2s for their Gnd/Tower frequency
Cheers

Sorry to go slightly OT but I keep an eye on things so I can share an accurate list for RIAT each year, I have VHF ATIS down as 135.450 which would be 135.455 over the radio, this matches the Mil AIP. I see you have it as 135.458. Have you rounded up to an 8.33KHz freq rather than round down the random 5 they added to stuff a while back or are you sure its actually that freq? Thank you

No problem at all, accuracy is important.
I posted the list from the frequencies stored in the scanner and it was displaying as 135.458. I can confirm the ATIS comes through loud and clear on that frequency.
I just double checked the mil AIP and it shows 135.455 as you mentioned -

Thanks, so 135.455 is 135.450 not 135.458. To be honest if you're local you would still hear it fine. I'm well out of range, could you try 135.450 for me and see if it's better, it could make a difference for people that are further out. Thank you (unless you're on a 15X or 3500 then I'd just leave it if I were you

)

Affirm, I'm pretty local. I've got the 125XLT with me, (the 3500 is at home anyway!) so will give it a try after work, providing the ATIS is still broadcasting.

I've just tried an unscientific test approximately 4 miles from FFD. Sat in the car with a Watson 901 attached to the 125XLT, 135.450 is marginally better, but there is basically nothing in it. This is just by ear, I have no meter baring the signal strength display on the scanner (5 bars on both frequencies).
The same test with a mag mount on the roof exhibits no difference.

Interesting that , I think usually with past bomber deployments the interplane freq(s) are different to the bomber ops freq , but someone may correct me . Yesterdays Spicy 11 mission was very chatty on this freq particularly before and on arrival, with write ups , formation changes , arrival plans etc .- almost a 3 way chat like a 'conference call' ! Makes sense I guess . A lady (co-pilot ?) in Spicy 12 came up calling herself 'Spicy 12 junior '
