Re: The B-1 deployment thread??
I can find the B-1 Deployment thread by following the link above but I can't find it from the Home page. Can anyone tell me which section it is under? In fact I have great difficulty knowing where threads about visiting aircraft are likely to be - UK visitors, the airbase concerned, NOTAMS, or somewhere else? I know it is an unenviable task trying to moderate Fighter Control but maybe there are too many headings or maybe I haven't managed to find the rules of where things should be posted?
Re: The B-1 deployment thread??
Fairford Bomber deplyments section is under Marine Moniters section

Re: The B-1 deployment thread??
It's the 4th section down on the Index page, it is between the 'Worldwide Milair Monitoring' section and the 'Military Aviation Photography' section.fatherfaff wrote: ↑Thu Sep 30, 2021 4:07 pmI can find the B-1 Deployment thread by following the link above but I can't find it from the Home page.
Re: The B-1 deployment thread??
I am getting the below message on that forum. Please can somebody advise why this might be?
"You do not have the required permissions to view or read topics within this forum."
Many thanks in advance.

Re: The B-1 deployment thread??
You'll need to have a minimum of 5 posts on the forum to view all sections of FC.
Re: The B-1 deployment thread??
The Heads Up/OTT & RCH sections within the Worlwide Milair Monitoring are really the go to for movements that are happening right now (If you are a new member you will also need a minimum of 5 approved posts to access this, so feel free to browse other parts of the forum to get started). Some logs and other more regular daily movements are posted under the relevant airfield sections in the Spotters Area of the forum (7th sub section down on the home page).
As a bomber deployment spans several weeks and tends to be heavily monitored its best to keep it in its own section, which as others have said is just below Worldwide Monitoring on the home page.
It may be worth mentioning that if there are any sub sections you don't have an interest in you can 'hide' them by clicking the minus sign on the far right side of the sub section header on the home page. This will make the home page just display the sections you are interested in, you could for example hide everything bar the 3 sub sections mentioned above if you were just looking for all movement/tracking info. You can re enable them by clicking the same button, which will now show as a plus sign.

OK, but sometimes you do need to read a complete thread in order to help yourself.
