He checked in on 128.70 "above FL600"

I guess the true altitude is classified?

I don't think flight levels 'exist' above FL600 ;)

Do the pogo wheels on the U2 usually drop off before V1? I was thinking that the chase car which follows The Dragon Lady on it's take off roll must communicate to the pilot that both wheels have departed the aircraft. Should 1 wheel not fall off would the pilot have time to abort take off? I am aware of the U2 crash at Fairford about 20 years ago, and wasn't his initially caused by a wheel staying attached to the frame?
I hope that you do not mind me posting this here, this is where the Dragon Lady knowledge is. :)
