I wish they'd learn how to spell SCHED! (Unless the military do it differently? Civil AD's spell it that way :))

I assume this is the backup ship?

Don't believe so! As I don't think they're both staying!

Well let's put it this way, one of them is going to the Czech Republic to sit in static at the Nato Days event for 5 days, Now I don't know much about deploying for airshows, but do you need a spare for a static appearence? :P ;)

No, but there's a fly-past at another show (If I remember rightly?), might need one for that :P Of course, you still have to get one out to the show, for which you might need said backup :P

Chris, I think your refering to the rumoured flypast at Sanicale (sp?) That is on the 19th and Nato Days finishes on...the 19th! Therefore I'm assuming () the same 52 would flypast on the way back. I'm probably totally wrong and someone at a Usaf base is having a good laugh reading this :P

Guess we will have to wait and see!

Note to self, look at calendar before commenting! I knew it was after the NATO event, didn't realise it was the same day!

Wouldn't surprise me, they certainly won't be playing golf in this weather! :thumb:

Scalp 98 monitored on Shanwick 5616 @ 1105L

54n20w eta 1037z
DOGAL eta 1054z
BEXET next

it will probably then route direct to STU for Fairford

Does anyone know if the B52 are under any lighting overnight like they have been in the past? was thinking of popping over later with the camera

Probably will be, but they're in a bad location and facing the wrong way for photos unfortunately.

Yes, but they're facing towards the hangar, so probably won't get any decent shots...

Anyone for the tailnumber ? ( SCALP98 )

PS : To Pikey01, it's Sanicole-Hechtel Show in the north-eastern part of Flandres ( Belgium ), nearby Kleine-Brogel Airbase.
