Thanks Benno, new tyres on order soon

City42 - a U2 is out, but whether it goes up today is another matter. The one on Weds had a fuel truck in front which is always a good sign.

Shows how long the U-2 has been in service! No Vulcans or Lightnings (EE) unfortunately. :thumb:

Dragon 01 Departed Fairford to Valley and returning to Fairford presently (1048), requested R27 full stop.

He DID go a little bit West I guess but now home sweet home....

He may well have turned back before approaching Valley but he got close!

I told my contact on base he was approaching and he commented that the weather was awful and he wouldn't be able to see him anyway!

This is a long term deployment to fairford ( years ) they are going nowhere, they may swop airframes over from time to time but the presence will remain.

Believe the BUFFs also have a similar mission. As USAFE keep discussing rotations and increasing/decreasing numbers of aircraft.
