Full press conference here, sound quality isn't great though
There's not great sound quality and then there's this! Holy moly. I had high hopes when I clicked on that link. Seems they'll let anyone into a media event these days... :pop:
The problem lies with whom ever though it would be a good idea to hold a live press conference outside in a good old'e English gale.....

One would expect there is a hangar or two available for such things at Fairford....

He's just posted in the Bomber deployment section, he must have joined before the "5 post" rule came into force.

Edit :- This is strange as the 5 post rule came into force about 4 years ago :- viewtopic.php?f=316&t=145142

There is no five post rule for those sections is there? Thought it was just Heads Up & OTT.

I'm 99.9% sure the rule applies to those sections as loads of new members have said they can't access them when someone has given them the link/s, maybe Admin have changed the rule very recently?

I think that these two sides are sent to the area of the Norwegian Sea. Fairford is active until 7 p.m., maybe Spitsbergen will also see them.

Mike,

It usually is the case where the 5-post rule applies to the (temporary) deployment sections. However, remember that the sections have to be created, and part of that creation is manually assigning what access will be allowed. If the creator forgets to make the 5-post rule apply, then access will be granted to everyone.

Incidentally, the "Exercises & NOTAMS" section is also subject to the rule.

Hi Bob, thanks for that. I knew that "Exercises & NOTAMS" section had the rule applied (as well as the OTT/Heads-up section) but could it be the case that the Bomber Deployment section doesn't have it applied and the Cobra Warrior section does (I'm thinking the CW section has it applied to stop any protesters from easily seeing the info)?

Perhaps it is Admin being generous as it is B-2s - rather than the bog-standard B-52(s) - and they are mentioned a bit in this Fairford section (which is open to all).

There again, it could be a subtle way to get more browsers to sign up as full members.
Cheers, Bob
