It could easily be en route back to US via Iceland but I doubt very much it would land there.

Why are we saying B2s and talking about B52s ?

We are not talking about B-52s. B-2s Spirit of New York, Georgia & Mississippi departed around 11:10 this morning as MYTEE 11, 12 & 13 with MYTEE 13 later changing callsign to MYTEE 22.

MYTEE 51 was an earlier divert of B-52H 60-0002 into Fairford. MYTEE is a callsign used by all 3 types of bomber.

That is great clarification. Thanks. The confusion is understandable as 52s have often used the MYTEE code.

About as often as the B-2s have!

For the third time they are B-2s

They are only track-able via radio transmissions and no return time is known.

That's right bearing in mind the notam is up until 2359 then it could be minutes or over 9 hours!

"MYTEE" is a callsign used on all U.S.A.F. SAC bomber types and not just allocated to B-52's. B-1's and B-2's use "MYTEE" as well. So please don't assume all "MYTEE" callsign aircraft are B-52's.

I heard that B-2 facilities were being constructed at Keflavik, might be checking them out?
