Ex Ample Strike starts 28th and uses bomber assets for its JTACS.

Rumour is 2 PAX flights from Whiteman, not a B-2 deployment. IIRC at least one of the support flights from a previous bomber deployment routed via one of the other types (B-52/B-1) bases, thus starting the whole 'it'll be a x-x deployment then'.

As MRTT quite rightly stated, we will see.

There is quite a lot of 75th anniversary celebrations due in about a months time, it would make sense that a better than normal deployment will take place.

Not sure where the 2 pax flights have come from, probably a misunderstanding on the Permit as it list 2 registrations.

I don't need to wait and see. I can predict the future.

In the case of this thread I'm hearing a jangling sound......metalic.......perhaps some keys?

How long are we expecting ample strike to last, normally around 2 weeks isn't it? I might need to take some more holiday off :S

Well, it would tie up with the B-52 flypast at Sanicole Evening show on Friday 13th September. ;)

Sounds like a lot of support for one plane doing a flypast!

There are no B-52's based at Whiteman. Only other USAF unit operates A-10's plus there are a few T-38s with the 509BW.
