There have been 6 times when the Embassy flight for Fairford has gone to Ramstein first. On 5 of those occasions its called in on its way back home so if 00215 does show up It'll be on its 3rd visit to the base.

cheers,
Graham

Previous visits by an Embassy flight have not been been cause for a tweet such as this. And quite how a single aircraft constitutes a 'busy week', I have no idea.

Perhaps it's going to do 10,000 missed approaches popping to Brize Norton to refuel once in a while? :P

Local businesses have received notification of an upcoming exercise starting next week at Fairford. Deployment numbers in terms of personal will be higher than previous exercises.

I live in town. They normally post on the local town FB page at same time as alerting local businesses. Nothing yet though...

I'm sure the USAF stated last year no prior notice would be given of exercise's anymore, I work for a local business and we have been told nothing but I'm also aware of the fact the exercise is taking place but that's only because of family who work on base. Although I should probably point out that the extra USAF personal in town is also a give away.

If there was no flight the previous week, there would be a 100% increase :)

It'll have to be a busy day tomorrow instead if anything is going to happen this week! 😂😂
Lots of sh*t floating around about this, until something actually happens I don't believe a word of it!
Cheers

The info I have is 500 personal and 6-8 buffs, but as stated the deployment is march, I have been told buffs arrivals just before next weekend.

If true could be one of the biggest deployments of a single bomber type these past 5 years. :thumb:

Between six and eight BUFFs? Call me a doubting Thomas but I'd be amazed if there are three.

Isn't between 6 and 8 more commonly known as 7 anyway? :P

Did the fact the same website tweeted a B-2 video as well imply B-2s in the deployment too?
