How long can a transiting U-2 pilot stay at Fairford before they have to apply for UK residency ?

I think the pilots just swap over and some return via transport/commercial flights, Either that or 2 seater sneaked in.
As I heard the woman pilot arrive several years ago and I haven't heard her depart yet.
