B-52H markings query

Post by tm74sqn » Wed Sep 12, 2018 4:14 pm

A couple of questions that I wonder if someone could help me with:-
(a) Is there a photo of the nose art on 61-0015 available anywhere?
(b) What is the shield below "AFRC" on fin of 60-057? My photos (taken in poor light) have left me unable to decide whether it is the Air Force Global Strike Command shield or that of the USAF Weapons School, or even some other!
Regards, TM74

You may have a better chance of an answer if you post it in the exercise thread as more people will be watching that. Just a suggestion, nothing more

A quick search on Google has this
http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/ph ... 19329.html for 61-0015, not sure it I current.

I think the shield is AFRC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Force_Reserve_Command
