Re: How long?
I assume this is a 1st having all three US Bomber types here at the same time?
Is a B1 & a B52 staying at Fairford for RIAT or are they going Home then returning in July?

Re: How long?
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but can anyone confirm if there will be any movements over this weekend ?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

Unlikely to be staying for air tattoo. Can't imagine they would want bombers sat around doing nothing for 2 weeks.welshandy wrote:I assume this is a 1st having all three US Bomber types here at the same time?

Don't believe anything has been confirmed (apart from Cosford airshow participation I think). There were weekend movements during the last exercise though.Gooner wrote:Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but can anyone confirm if there will be any movements over this weekend ?

Hi Gooner.
A B-1 and a B-52 are listed to do a flypast at RAF Cosford airshow on Sunday. So they will launch and recover for that at some point in the day.

Re: How long?
Pretty sure it was mentioned in an article that the aircraft involved in this exercise would then attend RIAT.
Wouldn't mind knowing if we can expect the B-2s to depart tomorrow.

Re: How long?
I'm unable to get to FFD next week due to work, but would love to spend a few hours over this weekend. Although a Bone and Buff departure/arrival are due on Sunday, is love to catch a Spirit or 2

Monday 12th is a No Fly Day
According to information from a very reliable source, Monday is a no fly/press day.
Re: How long?
Depends what the NOTAM at viewtopic.php?f=139&p=906299#p906299 is for - as it could well be for B-2s.MRTT wrote:Wouldn't mind knowing if we can expect the B-2s to depart tomorrow.
