Hi Guys,
Are the F35's still at FFD or have they departed?
Cheers

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

I saw, from a distance, perhaps a KC10 and 3x F35's fly out of Fairford about mid-day today?

There was a third jet as well? What could that have been?

I was there on Tuesday and the pair F22s departed, did they return on Tuesday ?
All six F35s were present on Tuesday along with KC135 and KC10, talk at the fence was that the three F35As would be leaving today with the KC10.

To facilitate an easy join up the 3 F-35A's departed Rwy27 first and then delayed low level to the East to allow the tankers to launch. Shortly afterwards the KC-135R departed followed by the KC-10. With the KC-10 in the air the F-35's then overflew the base in loose formation joining up with it during climb out - text book stuff.

The F22s left Tuesday as TABOUR 21/22 with CLEAN 71/72 KC135s from Mildenhall?, the thread in the heads up section on this forum is here viewtopic.php?f=8&t=134018

The 3 F35As left today, as Graham stated, under the call signs CLEAN81/82 the thread from the heads up section of this forum is here viewtopic.php?f=8&t=134071

Also today a Hawk seems to have arrived and when I went past, there were 2 Hawks parked close together and a Typhoon on the north side as well as the C130J, F35Bs were not visible. The typhoon looked like it was being hangared.

The Typhoon could be a poorly one. One arrived on Monday within a few minutes of the RAF Tiffies leaving- assumed one had gone tech, but that is just a guess.

So I've heard the Bs are departing home for the US next Wednesday, but are they staying at FFD until then and are there any shows or movements scheduled between now and then?

US F-35B displayed at Farnborough this afternoon (Friday) and returned to FFD.
I would expect one or possibly both to display Saturday and Sunday as well.
