Hi Guys,
On another forum an exercise noted starting on Monday through Friday featuring C130 and CV22 aircraft, seemingly evening/night flying, any info' ?

Would be surprised if this exercise goes ahead. At lease 5-6 MC-130's departed Mildenhall heading east in the middle of the night with KC-135 tanker support. It was these MC-130's that were supposed to be part of the exercise.

Heard from another forum that the C130's have returned to base, whether this will mean the exercise is on is another matter, guess we must wait and see, no Notam up at present.

"SOG exercise that was supposed to happen this week has been canceled .
May be on again later in the year"

I saw a pair of dark looking C-130s coming low as if on approach to Fairford over Buscot heading west around 9.05 this morning. One looked slightly longer than the other, although my view was obscured by trees so I may have been mistaken about that. They could have been returning then...or they could have been completely unrelated.

Just thought I would say that there was an Osprey over Lyneham last night between 9.00 to 9.15pm heading southwest towards Devizes /Caln area around 4 to 5000ft high.

That was going into Keevil, also flew over Chippenham.
