For completeness sake and as a future deployment end guide, on Mon 17 Jun there was a mass photoshoot,in two sessions, for what was possibly all personnel on this deployment. They were standing on the wings, and several with heads sticking out of the cockpit,of jet 0018,the nearest to the Marston Meysey crashgate. The photographer was some distance in front on a scissorjack tower with a horizontal bar on top(parachute tower?).I'm surprised this hasn't been reported/filmed(at least for this website),possibly because it was only visible from that, and maybe the northgate/Rhymes farm end of the airfield.

That's the one-looked a lot more precarious from the side! There were other shots with heads out the windows.

The brake parachute loading platform, which is normally parked in the bomber area during B-52 deployments, was moved to the East end of the base today, Saturday the 15th. This suggests to me that we won't have the Buffs for much longer.

Spot on! 👍🏻

Just an observation, there were a number of charter and Reach flights bringing in equipment and support staff and, from what I can tell, only one flight returning them!

No Reach flights were involved this time. Support cargo arrived on 2 Atlas B747's - still waiting to be collected.

Looks like National NCR523 Boeing 747-400 from Spain on final approach to Fairford @ 11:41 may be uplifting deployment related equipment.

Visual OTT at 16:52 local in the climb over Gloucester on a North West heading so likely US bound. FR24 showing aircraft but not flight number.

Accrding to FR24, it arrived at 23:30 UK (GMT+1) at Minot Air Force base which would confirm the deployment link.
