A very wise old man once said to me

“Rules are there to be observed by fools but also for the guidance of wise men”

Make of that what you will

Thank you to SamP for the invite for opinions.

If I was considering a visit to say Fairford for example (or bad example), I'd normally look at the Fairford page to get a feel for what is happening there and look for dept/arrival time patterns to build up a picture of ops and probably subscribe to it. Currently I'd see little info of use other than the excellent (apparently incorrectly located) U2 feed and perhaps might think there was virtually nothing actually happening there. Instead of looking in one place or indeed subscribing to one page, I have to look in 3 places (Fairford, Fairford Bomber Deployment 2022 and UK Heads Up). It would make sense (to me) for all that info to be on the main Fairford page after all that's where they are (temporarily) based.

To me it seems virtually pointless having specific airfield pages if the info relating the field isn't there but scattered all over multiple pages and I have to subscribe to all of them or risk missing a relevant notification.

UK Heads up section is useful but I get dozens of notifications usually with just a callsign with no location in the header so I have to open the link to find its inbound to Prestwick whilst trying to keep an eye out for the Fairford stuff.

At the end of the day, I'll go with the flow but for me personally, the current layout doesn't work and I have to delete hundreds of irrelevant notifications rather than getting only the Fairford related ones.

Apologies for the ramble.
