Ok, what was it then..really low heading into Fairford..triangular from underneath (lights at each corner) ? Any ideas appreciated...

C17 landed at Brize around 9:00pm yesterday.

A C-17 went over Swindon headed that way quite low about that time, sounded like it was losing speed with engines throttled back. C17 landing lights are at the wing tips and a pair on the belly which make a distinct triangular pattern
