Again can I ask that people don't post tracking info in this section, there is a whole section dedicated to live tracking ;) viewtopic.php?f=8&p=825472#p825472

The police did say on Monday that it would be when the 767 landed. They were expecting 1 to 2 hundred visitors

I have just arrived at a Very windy fairford.

Parking is fine the bomb dump road is open and apparently you can go on base later.

Not many people here though, are they still coming?

Fair enough!

But usually folk turn up early to get a limited parking spot. As it happens parking is fine.

I know they won't be here for a while but I will monitor the Brize inbounds - if only there were some.

I bow to your sarcasm.

I am a bit early in hind sight.

But it's good of the military to allow access for parking and as they are making the effort to man the gate and provide security then the least I can do is sit here with my sandwiches for six hours

I'll be there in an hour to keep you company...hopefully they are still inbound :thumb:
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Given the combination of the weather and the probable delayed arrival do you think photography is going to be feasible?

I dont see why not,as long as you have a ladder ,it will be fine,I think, might be a lttile dusk possibly but as ever wait and see

Given the wind wouldn't it be safe to say they are going to land on 27? In which case why do you feel a ladder is necessary?
