Return for B1s?

Post by kingmark11 » Sat Jun 17, 2017 9:24 pm

I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I cannot seem to find the information.
I'm considering going up to FFD on Tuesday, my understanding is that the exercise is until 24th June. Are the B1s likely to still be there bearing in mind Monday's ALTRV?

As far as I'm aware they are going home Monday unless someone else knows different.

Ahh that's a bummer, as I'm working nights in Exeter until Monday morning. I was hopeful so looked at accommodation in the area to prevent an overnight drive to FFD for Tuesday.
I really appreciate your reply, will see what transpires. Thank you.

No worries. I am hoping that the ALTRV is just the B2 and fighters previously mentioned as I can only practically get to the Cotswolds on Tuesday.

The B2 should be going today however the airfield NOTAM has been taken down but there is still a suitable ALTRV in place
