With the B1-B indicated to be taking part in Active Strike on Friday, could it be the same aircraft, perhaps with a gas an go somewhere?
It would be extremely difficult for a B-1, or practically any other modern day jet, to be in the static at Sanicole, the runway is only 1950ft. These types of aircraft use Kleine Brogel as their operating base for the display and in previous years a spotters day has been held there. It looks like this year the security situation has ruled this out.

See that on:
http://www.lznamest.army.cz/letova-aktivita
There are no updates for tomorrow (Saturday) as at 21.51BST. Have usually been by now.
Perhaps Saturday or even weekend off.
Casts doubt on weekend Ample Strike movements from FFD?

The Czech website (above) now shows a schedule for Monday 12th with no FFD based aircraft involved.

If there is any schedule for Saturday or Sunday, not been shown at all, looks like a weekend off.

No further involvement in the exercise by the B1s or B52, however someone posted earlier that a B1 and B52 will be leaving for the NATO days show on Tuesday.

Its passed info, nevertheless B-1 arrived yesterday around 17.00 LT in Sanicole area and was on hold untill 18.00 LT for the opening of the air show, performing 2 passes.
Around 17.30 LT it did 2 approaches at Kleine Brogel.

B-1 is not listed in the program for the Sunday (tomorrow) show.

Not sure but arrival times in Czech are here - so would suggest departure quite early:

I think so yes although the Flying program isn't yet published. If there's a B1 display I might be booking a trip to Czech for the weekend - it's free entry turn up on the day sort of show.

B-1 & B-52 are both static only, no display from either.

Any word on if the Buff and Bone are heading direct home from the Airshow? (Assume they won't return to Fairford?) Also when the other B-1 is going back?

Cheers

Credit to 'Richard Eccie Eccleston' on the Brize/Fairford FB group.."A B-52 and a B-1 are leaving Tuesday to go to the airshow at Ostrava....the remaining B-1 is flying an Ample Strike mission on thursday. The B-52 and B-1 return on Monday the 19th for a gas and go along with the departure of the remaining B-1"

Sorry if its stated somewhere else (which im sure it probably is..!) but Dad and I plan on heading down tomorrow, and I was just wondering where best to go to get some shots of the departures? Neither of us have seen a b1 or b52 in the air before, or spotted at Fairford for that matter, so we'd like to get the right positioning! Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Matt
It depends on the departure runway. If you have a look at one of the RAF Fairford airfield viewing guides that are about, it shows the various points around the perimeter. If you wanted to get a roughly mid runway position there's the crash gate at Dunfield or the one next to Rhymes farm on the opposite side of the field (though you may be facing the sun).
