SCALP 99 was the callsign of the B-52 currently thought to be at the (just ended) Slovak air show.

Looks like another NOTAM will be required as suggested arrival time is outside the scope of the published one by 2 hours.

That doesn't fit the 12:00L - 13:30L Notam though ;)

Anyone heading over today, get there for the published AD Open hours to avoid disappointment!

Could be our one.
This could be the reason for the lunchtime NOTAM and they will then post another one for SCALP99

If, this NOTAM (or another) is for the B-52 that was on static at the Silac air base in Slovakia, then direct(ish) flight route to FFD is around 1,000miles. 2 -1/2, 3 hours or so probably. Slovakia, Germany, Holland/Belgium, for anybody that may be able to track it.

So why is everyone thinking is ETA is 15:30? It's not adding up.

I'm told that SCALP99 was flight planned for eta 1530bst from an airshow at Slovakia but is now expected at 1245bst. So BOLLO was correct but plans have changed since this morning with the B52 getting away earlier.
