Not sure just how accurate the tracking is, but my VR shows the 2 KC10's going back along the route they have just came up on?....perhaps tanking in a racetrack?

The F35s are coming out of MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina. So the KC10s are probaly waiting form the to depart/catch up before starting the air res

Brize TAF showing a slight improvement in the Met from 1800z. Are we still expecting their arrival to be around then as per the previous 2 days?

Heads up thread shows that one F-35 has gone tech (is RTB Beaufort) and spare is being substituted. KC-10s are holding awaiting that I assume.

Both tankers according to VR are in a race track pattern abeam Seymour Johnson AFB at 10:45Z

So did they all return to base, and set off as a group again?

Out of interest, is the route for them to be North up the east coast of the US, then over the North Atlantic just south of Greenland / Iceland into the North of the UK?
