Hi has anyone any details on notams, arrival times of the F35s or if it will even be the 27th or if it has been put back.

If it follows the usual pattern for Monday Atlantic crossing the ALTRV will be posted either tomorrow afternoon or Friday. Then there should be a better idea of timings

One way is on the US DOD DINS site https://www.notams.faa.gov/dinsQueryWeb/ and search for EGGX 'Shanwick'

There is no Voyager in the US doing F-35 trials.

That Voyager (ZZ334) arrived home in the early hours of 4th June following the successful F-35 AAR certification.
oops, apologies, I thought it was still there, must have missed that.

(If I'm reading it right)

There is an ALTRV terminating off the UK coast (MIMKU) this afternoon, there are also two block ALTRV's for Monday morning.

F-35 related?

Andy

The ALTRV is for tomorrow, there is at least 4 tankers at Bangor, so could be multiple jets. As Al said could be the 48th FW returning viewtopic.php?f=139&p=823505#p823505

The stationary ones look like some form of weapons firing, with the surface to FL999 block https://skyvector.com/?ll=53.9388435307 ... 536N01333W and https://skyvector.com/?ll=53.9388435307 ... 736N00800W

Edit None of the 4 tankers arrived at Bangor with any chicks

Couple of MATZ activation NOTAMS :

Suspect this is for BALTOPS clean-up transport flights tomorrow - C-17 and B-747 ?

B1074/16 - MILITARY ATZ ACTIVATION 5NM RADIUS 514101N 0014724W (FAIRFORD AD,GLOUCESTERSHIRE). SFC-3000FT AMSL. 16-06-0757/OPS3. 24 JUN 07:00 2016 UNTIL 24 JUN 16:00 2016. CREATED: 23 JUN 14:19 2016

However this seems to tie in with what is known about the F-35's...

B1076/16 - MILITARY ATZ ACTIVATION 5NM RADIUS 514101N 0014724W (FAIRFORD AD,GLOUCESTERSHIRE). SFC-3000FT AMSL. 16-06-0770/OPS3. 0700-1900, 27 JUN 07:00 2016 UNTIL 05 JUL 19:00 2016. CREATED: 23 JUN 15:59 2016

Just a remember with the jets potentially arriving today. Please don't post any movements in this thread or any thread in the section. All tracking info in the thread in Heads Up viewtopic.php?f=8&t=133158

Is it possible that the F35's will go into Lakenheath first like the F22's did 4 years ago prior to RIAT?

So looks like 35A into LKH later in the week I'd guess is it just the three Aircraft into FFD today?

Cheers.

Wonder if they may pay a little visit to Marham when they're here?
