That was quite a while ago now - any insight as to what the issue may be (without speculating) and did anyone see or know what the Western Global MD11F brought in? Engines were apparently run the following day and the aircraft towed later on to near the main hangars.

The MD-11 was collecting, not dropping off.

Engine run would point to an engine issue which is what I’ve heard reported. Not sure myself though unfortunately

On Mon this week (20th) around 15 personnel turned up at h/s47 and mainly worked around the port rear engine nacelles (port inner I think). I'd say nothing major was done , possibly an inspection . They all left about an hour or so later . Flight deck was accessed but nothing ran .
