B-1 has started up on what appears to be yet another engine run...

If I've learned one thing in 50+ years of spotting its if you've 'sussed' a pattern it will probably change ! On this deployment consecutive flying days have happened once (13/14 Oct) as has weekend ops (23 Oct) and I believe 'down' days between ops (aside from 13/14th) have been 1 day four times , 3 days once & 4 days twice (I stand to be corrected ). Perhaps you'd be helpful and share 'the pattern ?

Well said johnwayne :thumb:
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

I will, because it does. 👍

As "sdad" says, odd numbered days are flying days. Ok, I doubt it's because they're odd numbers, but rather for the most part a flying day is followed by a maintenance day. It does however fit a visible pattern.

The exception being 14 October, and when did they next fly? 19 October, and then they dropped back in to the pattern of flying on "odd" numbered days.

Talking about the number of down days is fine, but they still fit in to the pattern - other than 14 October which is the outlier.

So, if you want to see them fly...an odd numbered weekday is your best bet. Statistically speaking.
