Glad I said "i think" was in the garden trying to see them and listening too airband through window, thought I heard one return and land and when they ask to transit Waddington & Coningsby they said flight of seven. Couldnt have got it more wrong, I blame the weather.

First 3 ship must have stayed low in formation and done a 360 to position for a second run and break whilst the 4 ship landed. Not known them do that before.

So it's where the post should be then :S
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

XX245, XX278, XX322, XX311, XX242, XX310 I believe were all present. Can’t be sure of the others but may have photos that confirm. Definitely don’t know which one was retrieved from Scampton after the RTB - he broke and banked very early.

And yes - 6 - 8 followed Enid section in and stayed together as a three before taking a wide loop round, then did their BTL subsequently.

Below from the base Oracle. Looks like it has RTB.

NOTAM for the 1200 UTC opening wasn't for the Qid - it was for "Red11" which departed back to base.
