RIAT 97 SW F-16's

Post by luke28 » Fri Mar 27, 2020 8:31 pm

Alright chaps, wonder if any of you with good memories could settle a debate.

My Uncle is adamant that at the RIAT of 1997 that we saw a pair of Shaw based F-16's with the SW tailcode on them.

I know we saw the 2 special tailed Shaw jets in the static display but I cant for the life of me remember seeing ones with the tail code on them.

Any help is appreciated.

Aaaaagh thanks chaps.

So if I'm reading that correctly there were 2 SW coded jets aswell as the special ones. But the SW coded jets were positioned were the majority of the display jets are positioned?

They were parked in the northeast dispersal closest to the runway threshold
