Just over Tewksbury at 11500ft according to Adsb..
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

If the coding is correct, this appears to be the airframe that went home very recently after tech problems. Had different nose config.

Is NOTAM still open- time for one to come the other way: "D21" or "D31".

It seems virtually every U2 hexcode has at least 2 aircraft associated with it, I wonder if the hex box is fitted in a removable mission pod or pack and they fit them as required to any serviceable aircraft if the original goes tech?

Hmm.......80-1085 was last recorded Eastbound departing Fairford on 12/01/2018.

No record of it coming back......unless it was airfreighted back to Beale. Would have thought it extremely unlikely that it returned the long way round.

Could this be 80-1086 with a tatty serial? '086 has used AE0968 before.

Also interesting to note that 80-1085 today had a standard nose cone, no SYERS equipped.
