I saw this aircraft from Bicester , heading inbound to Brize Norton this morning . I was wondering what the correct name /designation is?. Various books and magazines call it ethier a KC-30M or A330-243 MRTT ?. Just interested as to which name/designation I should log it as.

Isn't A330MRTT an Airbus designation and KC-30 an operator designation? Both the MMF and Australia use the latter.

Scramble Military Serials Europe 2020 and Scramble Military Transports 2020 use KC-30M, hence my question.
