Thanks Isaac, sadly i havent been able to keep it up to date as often as I hoped due to various personal reasons, and further sadly, i will be moving on in a few weeks, so no more info from me am afraid.

Am sure XA310 and Al D will keep up the good work tho.

Unfortunately Yellowbelly, I moved onto pastures new in July on promotion, now currently at RAF Honington,

I have been glad to help out on here whenver I can. So the mantle goes to XA310 to carry on the sterling work.

Navy link coded 310 in the left shed today whilst AH-64 ZJ227 seems to have taken up long term residence in the right shed.

now that Lynx XZ691 has arrived in Martinique, ZF558 / WK-336 arrived on RR6489 early Monday morning and was stored in one of the sheds, sorry dunno which one. Anyway, this frame is so broken I suspect it will be roaded out, it will return to its home base and be used as a spares sources/training rig for a few months until the remaining 5 lynx's are withdrawn from service.

interestingly, the broken bit of the aircraft is repairable (crack down its spar) but obviously not worthwhile repairing at this stage of its life, but if similar was to happen to the Wildcat, its replacement ultimately, the aircraft would have to be scrapped as its body shell is made out of one piece of metal apparently.

and on that note, my time at BZZ has come to an end, I hope folk found the gen on here useful, if not interesting at times.

cheers all

Would assume it was ZF562 that was loaded on to a C-17 about lunchtime and said C-17 departed later
