sensitive? official secrets act (which doesnt apply as its not a uk asset)?.... never heard anything more ridiculous. Why sensitive? 'cos it's Israeli? More like.... 'oooh, I know a secret and some else knows it now and I havn't been able to be the first one posting this information'... How about all the Russian HF Morse in the radio forum... You should see some of the cargo coming in and out of assorted UK bases on Civvie Jets, QRA's, AAR, Special forces 'unmarked aircraft'.. It could all be seen as sensitive, why not close the forum if you're that worried..... delusions of grandia..

To Rubberneck :)

I would like to thank you for the hard work and effort that you have put in to giving the 99% of us that aren't priviledged to forthcoming movements and information. Its nice to be able to see some of the more interesting and exotic visitors to our shores. Please keep up your good work, it is very much appreciated and dont let the 1% put you off. Best wishes, Steve. :)

Well done Rubberneck. Shame there's a few boy scouts on this forum who have some miserable job on a base somewhere and have had their 'priviledged' knowldege undermined by the power of the internet.

Does it really matter by whom and when the information gets posted, we could find out a week before but we can't get to see them until they actually arrive so no real rush to get the info out there. If some people choose not to post because it could compromise their occupational position then that is up to them for obvious reasons and rightly so. I'm sure there is no malice in their decisions 'depriving' others of information just common sense and obligation. As soon as this visit was known through freely available web access and networks it hit the public grape vine and many of us got to see them, had I known a week ago would it have made any difference to me? Not really in hindsight.
Stop all the griping, grow up and be grateful that we got to find out about them as promptly as we did, many years ago we all used to miss out on seeing aircraft because we didn't have the internet forums we have now and by the time the jungle drums reached us the aircraft would already have left.

Thanks to everyone on here who did post about these when the information was available, and to those who didn't/ couldn't, thank you for sticking to your obligations and conscience.

And breathe….

Bottom line is don't go around saying hush hush, then whack photos of said aircraft online taken on base. I know I would value my career more over bragging rights. :pop:
