RRR900

Post by skywatch » Thu Oct 27, 2016 5:45 pm

This one (ZZ332) has been loitering in the Alboran Sea (S or Motril Spain) the last few days.

I know the Kuznetskov CBG are heading through the Med, but anyone know what this is doing there? Do we have AAR out of Gib or Malta?

Just curious as it is not a 'normal' sortie AFAIK.

The last few days RRR900 has been ZZ334 and has been going back and forth to Spain from Brize Norton on a daily basis.

ZZ332 only returned yesterday as RRR2881 after a protracted absence out East. After only three hours on the ground, it then departed as RRR2840 for the US/Canada.

Apologies, you are correct on the tail number.

Still be interested in what it was doing there though! ;)

Thank you Blackbox, my curiosity is calmed (for a while anyway!) :)

Today's effort seems to have been aborted/cancelled. RRR900 had scarcely got beyond LND when it about-turned and returned to Brize.
