Re: AH-64E Arrival
Small question, How can you tell an AH-64E from the earlier AH-64D?
Re: AH-64E Arrival
The AH-64E Guardian V6 has a couple of obvious antennas that mark it out from the AH-64D Longbow. A large VHF blade aerial on the top fuselage between the engines, as well as the weird looking comms aerial on the upper side of the boom, just behind the engines.
There are numerous other smaller differences, but those 2 are the easiest to see.

Re: AH-64E Arrival
Another question,is the AH-64E to be known as Apache AH.2 on the UK Mil register.
I do what the voices in my head tell me to do!!!!

Re: AH-64E Arrival
At the moment the AAC website is calling them AH-64E
https://www.army.mod.uk/equipment/aircraft/
but that website is also saying that they have RTM-322 engines...

Re: AH-64E Arrival
No, they will never be designated as Apache AH.2. They MAY get designated Apache AH2 at some point though.
