2x Apache on M40 into Brize 7/9?

Post by farnboroughrob » Tue Sep 07, 2021 2:15 pm

Around 11:30am today I followed 2x Apache's on the M25 and they turned off onto the M40. One was ZJ218, but despite two attempts, I could not see the serial on the second machine. Presume they were inbound Brize?

Were you able to tell if the engines were fitted or removed?

Yes, the next pair of Apaches for the CSP programme were roaded out of Wattisham to Brize yesterday.

They looked 100% complete from what I could see, nothing obviously missing.

Speculation.
Maybe they're the payload for the AN124 that's currently en-route to Brize ? (UR-82027)
