Hi thevulcan. Sorry but I can't find the details confirming that:
1 The exercise is definite and ETA as above
2. That Minot B-52s are deploying.

Thanks in advance for any pointers in the right direction.

It’s all speculation from thevulcan, as per usual. As we all know putting 2 & 2 together doesn’t always work.

All we know for sure at the moment is there was an Atlas Air B747 due into Prestwick from Minot this Saturday and onwards to Fairford on Sunday. Time will tell whether that happens.

It's not speculative if it's fact now is it? :P

As far as I am aware this is an aviation forum not an aviation fact sheet. Discussion is allowed as is truthful posts of information.

Anyway back on to the topic now and wait for the coming days.

Notams up for Minot on Saturday... 1655z to 2300z. Ample strike website states B52’s attending but until they are on the deck at FFD I’m sceptical

Hopefully they turn up. Only issue will be the furlough brigade

Indeed Mike along with my bad spelling and autocorrected mistakes.
Time to sit back relax and enjoy a well due deployment.

I won't be going to Fairford, nor anywhere else spitting for that matter. I was seeking clarification for the benefit of all.

I don't know how old you are, I'm guessing late teens/early 20s? I have to use Google a couple of times every week for the correct spellings of words, you never, ever stop learning and I've been spotting since August 1964!!

I really hope this deployment takes place but the last time I drove direct to Fairford (with only 1 stop for a leak and I don't hang about when I'm driving and it still took 9 hours)!!

Spitting is disgusting and Scottish footballers seem to be the World Champions at it, even some of the SPL managers think it's perfectly acceptable even during the lockdown - Celtic's Neil Lennon is the worst offender.

 it should have said spotting, but you knew that cheeky Mike  That will teach me to proof read before submitting

And yes I totally agree! Vile habit.
