Notam for Sat 17th June:

A Notam has been issued (see
https://ourairports.com/airports/EGUB/notams.html) for increased aerial activity on Saturday 17th June 08:00-15:30z (09:00-1630 Local).
Presumably this is for the helicopters for the King's Birthday Flypast.
Edit 12:05 - apparently the RAF Air Cadets are trying to get up to 2000 of them airborne during the day on Saturday in Pumas and Chinooks, so this Notam is probably for that rather than the King's Birthday.

Ewelme village Facebook reporting flypast by F35, Texan and Lancaster Saturday between 13:10 and 13:30 (although the notam suggests the flypast is later 15:00 to 15:30z)

13:10 to 13:30 local would fit with these being part of the King's Birthday Flypast as they disperse after Buck House.

Wouldn't be the first time someone has slipped up and added an hour to local time when submitting a Notam, instead of subtracting an hour, during BST!

Posted elsewhere on FC as well, but Saturday is looking promising....
The BBC reported on the lunchtime news that "The Coronation flypast over Buckingham Palace was all but cancelled but this Saturday's Trooping the Colour is a second chance to put on the show." (Jane Hill's words). The BBC's royal reporter was at Brize Norton and said that three C-130Js will participate along with the C-17 that carried the late Queen Elizabeth's body to RAF Northolt last year. There was no confirmation of any other participants. I will be standing in a field, hoping to see 60 or so aircraft!

From RAF Benson Facebook page…
A notice to our neighbours
On Saturday, we will be holding an Air Cadet Muster. This will involve experience flights for the cadets with multiple Chinook aircraft delivering local flights throughout the day.
There will also be flypasts from F-35, Texan and Lancaster aircraft from 13:10 local. Please note the airfield is not open to the general public.

Night stopping, and on the north end of the apron and behind the crowd barrier, presumably so the Air Cadets tomorrow can get a good look at them are:
Prefect ZM319
Juno ZM513
Jupiter ZM499
There were no Chinooks or Pumas outside a few minutes ago (except for the RAF plastic Chinook mock-up).

Chinooks started flying the Air Cadets just after 9 this morning - the two in use (according to Adsb) are ZA677 (as "Airwolf 1") and ZH893 (as "Airwolf 2").

I can confirm the two Chinooks flying were ZA677 and ZH893 from photos. Anyone know the serial of the third (presumably a standby frame) that was parked adjacent to where the flying two were operating from?
