NEWS FROM RAF BENSON
This is to serve as notification that Typhoon aircraft will be operating from RAF Benson 20 – 21 Apr 23. In view of the loud noise created by Typhoon’s, we hope that this message can be distributed to your parish to help avoid any inconvenience. The reason for the Typhoon activity is for training, for both the pilots and base itself to practise sustaining fast jet operations.

I have logged onto here to ask the same question as I have seen the same post. Nothing official on the RAF Benson Facebook page as yet though...

Certainly seems legit, just wondered if anyone else had any more info!? Cheers

They expect two Typhoons to arrive at 12:15 Thursday, to fly locally 15:30 to 16:15 the same afternoon, and to depart at 11:00 Friday.

They are flying this afternoon then depart back to Coningsby friday morning

Just flown over Abingdon heading Brize direction .

Sure I heard Swansea mentioned on the scanner. Possibly 'Shawbury Triangle!?' too

Heard one of the pilots on A2A frequency say 'I want to live here, but not fly helicopters, and not be in debt - How do I do that!?' Haha

From their RT, they performed a radar to visual approach. Proceeded to initials with a break to land. So they would've completed a single circuit.

Nope they were straight in, no circuit.
