Grobs

A quick look here around noon today 10th Apr revealed the following Grobs :
G-CGKH KK KL KP KS KW.
KS appears to be a new one, certainly not recorded here by me anyway, although could be just visiting.

Today is the first time I have picked 'KS up on my ADSB system, and it's using a "Nickel" callsign, so it looks like a newbie for Oxford UAS.

“Nickel” callsigns are for Cadet Air Experience Flights (or AEFs as they call them). Forgot what Oxford UAS callsigns are though...

Many thanks for the confirmation. The other callsign in use is "UAO-xx", usually shortened on the radio to just "Uniform-xx" as per normal ATC conventions (with "xx" almost always either being 11 or 12).

Do you have any idea where the "Nickel" callsign comes from for 6AEF? I have often puzzled over this.
