A search of FR24 indicates it’s an Air Tanker one in disguise.

Yes, true. AirNav shows it with an RAF flight number, which confuses things even further Its a game we have played before with the Air Tanker contract and will no doubt do so again

Update: one of my contacts spoke to the MRTT crew and apparently it changed from ZZ330 to G-VYGM in Pakistan the day before as suggested. It was originally scheduled to go back to Brize at 3pm'ish today but has been put back until 6pm tonight when it will depart on a RRR flight no.

Hearing that there should be a USAF C-17 coming in Wednesday evening. It should be leaving just after lunch Thursday.

Somebody told me that a USAF Gulfstream C-37 came into STN today. late morning.

That's the one. Hearing that it will depart again today for Leeds Bradford and then possibly return to STN again later or tomorrow.

The C-37 arrived back to Stansted as SAM701 at 16:30. Apparently it also went to Fairford today as well as Leeds Bradford.

Edit: I am told that it will be going to Leeds Bradford again Tuesday.

An early heads up of something different. On Thurs 20th there is rumoured to be a Romanian Air Force C-27J Spartan making a visit.

The C-37 has just arrived back at Stansted from Leeds again. I am told that it leaves tomorrow (Wed) 18:30'ish.

The Romanian Air Force C-27J Spartan leaves tomorrow at about 9am I believe.

An Irish Air Corps PC-12 should be landing at Stansted in the next 20 minutes. Not sure how long staying.

Update: its leaving this evening IRL282. Apparently it was on a medivac flight, hence its arrival with little notice.

The Romanian C-27J Spartan should be back tomorrow (Wed) at lunchtime.

Prime Minister has announced he is hosting a number of leaders on Sunday. Anything for Stansted?

Romanian C-27j is running late and may not be here until 2:35-2:40. I believe it is ROF130, a different aircraft to the one that came last week.

Is it known how long the Romanian is staying?

RAMP RAT above reckons a night stop. I haven't heard anything any different to that.

There should be a RAF MRTT 330 in tomorrow 16:30'ish.

Edit: Ignore the above. Apparently the MRTT has just changed roles and is coming in as G-YVGM as flight RRR2229 at 18:55. Its prob only staying a couple of hours before leaving for Brize. There was an identical flight last month, so perhaps its becoming a regular thing?
