Saudi Typhoon diverted in whilst on delivery flight

Twin-seat Typhoon ZK399/RSAF1021 (CT18) diverted in with a problem whilst on a ferry (delivery) flight from Warton.

The other a/c single seat ZK394/RSAF1023 returned to Warton, where they had both departed at 0950Z

I was caught by surprise but grabbed camera just in time

1021 (ZK399) was using callsign WTN01B and 1023 (ZK394) that didn't land was WTN01A

It was outside and being worked on at 13.30 today at Boscombe.

Nice pic of them on finals - thanks for posting : )

It was parked right outside the slot where I work - was a nice little diversion for a few minutes to watch it land and taxy in !

ZK394/CS029 departed warton at just after 10am today c/s "WTN01A" with a join up en route with ZK399/CT018.

think the twin seater had had an ECS problem causing the diversion.

RJ85 G-LENM c/s WTN02 arr on fri around 1615L (tracked on planefinder)
