Tue. 5/7/22 At 9am All 9 on the flightline . At 10.40 aircraft 1 to 8 took off and did a 40 minute rehearsal using the cross runway as the display line. Only other aircaft flying prior to this were G-ETPE and G-BYWW. The stream landing was a bit hairy with 7 and 8 pretty low MB

Presumably only 8 of the 9 will display at RIAT. Are all 9 visible at Boscombe Down and is there anything else visible at Boscombe - not been since the Seventies!
I would assume, like last time all 9 will go to RIAT. No point in having a spare aircraft if it's not with the rest of team if and when needed.

Just got back from boscombe down. There are seven Korean aircraft visible parked on the flivgbtline. One red arrows hawk in today. Not much else a twinstar and a few helicopters. B down is very quiet compare to what it used to be. I have been visiting a few times a year and have seen a lot of good stuff. But there is not much based there now.

COAP have got a photocall at Boscombe on Friday with the Koreans in which they will be photographing their departure and arrival back from Southport. And I've got other plans so was not able to purchase tickets :(

Visited Boscombe down on Wednesday seven Korean and one red arrows parked up together. Visible from road. The red departed around 3.15. No Korean action. Only other movements were a few helicopters tutors and twinstar and a pc7. Its not what it used to be. All the good stuff has been wfu. I try to visit several times a year and sometimes you may get an interesting visitor.

Pre-booking only, so details NOT applicable! Guess you really want to know when they fly? In the slot 10:30 t/o to Midday recovery & NO I'm not going, so no Secrets keeping from me! :ninja:

8 T-50s launched around 10:30, seen climbing out whilst approaching Boscombe. For anyone heading this way they are using 05 at the moment.

If anyone's photographing them the serial is stencilled on the cockpit canopy, on the left side at least.

Would appreciate if people could try and check their photos so we can be sure they're not changing airframes and codes!

Thanks anyway, winged it and due to someone's misfortune in having a prang in the road works on the M3 , I arrived at BD 20 mins later than planned just as they did a run and break into the curcuit. I was the wrong end too. 😏 Rob

Photo proof shows all codes identical to that previously posted.
They are relocating to Fairford on 13th July and back to Boscombe 18th July so previous rumours were incorrect.
The planned Indian A F helicopters have cancelled so no C.17's into Boscombe.
