i doubt that fire crews took 20 minutes to arrive as they are 24/7 on domestic cover on base with Crash 1 at all times.
a bit miraculous though.

The fire crew May have been the towns unit they were called to the scene as it was reported in the local paper Weston gazette has a website there May be more info on there for those interested

Coincidentally, the Wasp left Yeovilton on the back of a low loader this afternoon.

G-STOO is still in the hangar and has had all trace of registration removed except for the plate in cockpit,,must have been a bad injury due to the amount of claret in the cockpit
Hope the pilot or passenger makes a full recovery

I was told yesterday that the WASP is CAT 5 :'(

Both pilots had light injuries.
