Just had what I think is the "NHS Spitfire" do a couple of circuits of the Hospital and then fly down the centreline of the Yeovil (Westland) runway and off westbound. Local news last night said it was due to go to Exeter and North Devon too.

ZZ387. Not sure what it was up to but it departed and returned about an hour later 3 times. I'd guess it did a rotors running refuel between sorties - didn't seem to shut down.

For those 'watching' on SBS/ADS-B, ZZ513 seems to be flying with Mode-S switched off, so you won't see it.

There was also a black and yellow jobbie circling for about half an hour. I took a photo hoping to ID it but sadly it was directly OTT my QSY. Suspect it was the rozzers, but could have been M.Wallop or Shawbury.

Hi Malcolm do you remember what time your mystery chopper was about?

G-CBVP Bell 412 was about at 1230L flew over at least twice at about 3000ft not sure of the colour but it had a very distinctive sound, think it was out of Boscombe.

Camera says 12:44L. I think the clock on my camera is about 5 minutes slow, so make that 12:49 ish. A look at the photo reveals a 4main/2tail blade 2 engine 'Huey' type, so I guess your report allows me to fudge up ZJ708
