A less heat absorbing scheme. (Had it been primer it wouldn’t have been wearing serial/code ) Freeman

7T-WVB is visible on ADSB tracking south past Rennes, so presumably going home.

Re: Yeovil(Westland) Sightings Autumn/Winter 2019/20
Thursday 19th Sept.
Noted between 10.15 & 11.45
Wildcat HMA 2 ZZ 377 & ZZ 513 latter complete with rocket pods Port & Starboard - both flew
AW.101 ZZ 102 for R Nor AF. Norwegian serial taped over. Flew
AW 189 in overall drab Olive paint scheme - only marks AW189 on tail - could this be its serial ala AW 101. Fuelled up/ engine run then shutdown
AW 189 in Red white & Blue scheme with purple spinner cap on main rotor - nose on & to far away to i.d - civvie?
Dragged out of Flight shed at circa 11.15 escorted by DROVES of Westland Green coats was HH-101A ZR 361 coded 15-12. In pristine Black scheme with Italian roundel. Italian serial and unusually the HH-101A designation both taped over. Blokes crawling about on tail ramp - Craft fuelled up - but as usual no urgency to get her going. Possibly Ist engine run later. Left before they all stopped for Dinner

Algerian Merlin 7T-WVD [0A4045] could be inbound today. Yesterday it was plotting near Valencia/ Spain. At this moment it is plotting over the Channel Islands.
Re: Yeovil(Westland) Sightings Autumn/Winter 2019/20
Do we have any idea if one of the Italian is grey , there seems to be no information or pictures yet , and a drab green 189 ? A demo aircraft perhaps or an Irish one ?

Hi Somerset,
jrmrsdal's sighting is supported by photographic evidence.
The AW189 doesn't wear a Tricolour on the tail as the Irish AW139s do.

Somerset,
Sorry, I've only seen it on the back of a camera.

The Olive drab "189" should be a 149 c/n 49024 CSX81890 which is based for a few months following its appearance at DSEI, it uses hex code 31FEFD for those who monitor
