It is my last day here in Yeovil. I am moving out today :( It was nice to live here and watch the heli movement and much more. I will share my photos in the future.

Thanks,

Arguing about the EU :-)

It's been quite quiet down here recently. No new first flights, and not much to report. ZZ510 flew last week with a Boscombe callsign, ZR352 flies several times a week, one of the Saudis was up, and ZJ126 visited. All pretty hum drum stuff. Reports will resume once there is something interesting to report. :P

Malcolm when did the Saudi fly? I've still not seen a painted one fly yet!

Rick/Malcolm.
Not been to AW for a while but I think you will find that the Saudi's are long gone. HMH-1 left last December I believe and HMH-2 possibly departed mid September. Unless they have been returned for some reason!
Both were painted white with thin green lines running nose to tail quite a long time ago and pictures have been published in various forums.
On my last visit the only AW101's seen painted white were the 2 for Nigeria.
Cheers
Bertie

99% sure it was a Saudi out on the main ramp last Wednesday - 22nd Oct at 9AM- and my SBS showed a Saudi ICAO code mid morning wearing a Yeovil Squawk. Was all white, with green cheat-lines curving up the tail, and the serial covered in black tape. No words or national insignias on fuselage or tail that I could see. Angle was too shallow to get the UK serial. I don't need either so didn't pay that much attention after deciding it was likely Saudi.

[43CB58] "WHE05" pinging. Something new at last?

12:35L Tis a Wildcat, just gone eastbound towards Sherborne. Couldn't make out if it was an AH1 or HMA2. Perhaps if it comes back before I'm off up the chippy.

12:48L Tis an AH1.
